Introduction
New Beginnings Church was formed just over a year ago and is based in Cartersville, Georgia. Having vision of quality worship, the leaders of the church, including Senior Pastor Barry Garland, were determined to have the highest quality equipment from day one, with the best value and cost of ownership.
The Challenge
Multiple wireless microphones would be used simultaneously, including mics for the senior pastor, worship leader, praise team, speakers, and soloists. New Beginnings church frequently travels to different locations in the Cartersville area, therefore durability/reliability was very important in the selection of equipment. Quality and clarity of audio reproduction was another key element Diagnostic information was important to the church so they can observe the status of battery life, radio frequency strength, and audio levels.
The Solution
New Beginnings Church selected PureLink’s WA series of wireless audio products comprised of one WA-100 receiver and eight WA-200 receivers, along with the WA-ADS-4000 antenna distribution system including a pair of WA-ADS1 paddle antennas. Eight WA-HH1 handheld microphones were employed along with a WA-BP1 beltpack transmitter coupled with the WA-HS1-W headset for the senior pastor. A WA-PM1 wireless podium microphone is used for occasions where a speaker preferred to use a mounted microphone over a handheld or headset microphone.
